DellaJane Hand Dyes: Wool Roving and Felting Patterns

Wool roving is processed to be spun into yarn or felted. There are a number of sources available with felting instructions, ideas, and patterns. Check your local bookstore, quilting shop, library, or the internet. I dye small quantities, usually 2-3 ounces of a color at one time. I never attempt to duplicate colors already dyed, so you will not receive the exact colors pictured.

Black Roving

28-31 grams of black roving. Can be used for wet-felting, needle-felting, spinning. Two available.

Roving Sampler

12-15 grams of hand dyed roving. This is a sampler of colors - you will get 3-5 different colors and/or shades of colors of roving. Multiple package orders will get as many different colors as are on hand at time of order, but there may be duplication.

Light Blue Roving
