Mystery Dyeing Workshop Supply List

Note: After using these items for dyeing, they CANNOT be used for food.
- 4-6 small plastic cups (not measuring cups). Clear is best. Must hold at least 1/2 cup of liquid.
- Set of Measuring spoons (1/8 teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon)
- Two 1-cup measuring cups
- 2-cup measuring cup or small pitcher (for water & soda ash solution).
- 12 1-quart or gallon ziploc baggies (extras in case of leakage are good!)
- Sharpie-type marker
- Large dishtub or similarly sized tub
- 2 plastic shoebox-size tubs with lids
- Paper towels
- Notebook and pen
- 4FQ commercial print fabric: Two each of 2 different fabrics, light to medium value. DO NOT bring black & white or white on white fabrics.
- 4FQ commercial print fabric: One each of 4 different fabrics, light to medium value. Two fabrics may be repeats from previous item. DO NOT bring black & white or white on white fabrics.
- OPTIONAL ITEMS to be used during playtime:
  - 2 plastic shoebox-size tubs with lids OR two 1-gallon size ziploc baggies
  - plastic gallon container with top opening big enough for hand to fit into
  - large garbage bag
  - Any large plastic containters (with lids!) you want to try dyeing in

Instructor Provided Items (additional fee to be paid in classroom)
- 5 yards PFD fabric
- All dye and chemicals
- Gloves
- Towels and supplies for cleanup
