DellaJane Hand Dyes - DIRECT DYE APPLICATION WORKSHOP SUPPLY LIST

Please check back one week before your workshop is scheduled to make sure you have the latest information!

Note: After using these items for dyeing, they CANNOT be used for food.
- Set of Measuring spoons (1/8 teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon)
- 1-cup measuring cup marked in 1/4 cup increments
- One 2-cup measuring cup or equivalent for water & soda ash solution
- Sharpie-type marker
- 12 Gallon-size ziploc baggies
- Two dishtub or similar sized tub (12-18 quart size)
- Paper towels
- two plastic shoebox-size tubs with lid OR two 1-gallon size ziploc baggies
- plastic gallon container with lid. Must have top opening big enough for hand to fit into
- 3-4 large garbage bags (30 gal size or larger)
- Optional: 2-3 yards of a commercial fabric (light to medium) that you would like to overdye.
- Additional PFD fabric will be available for purchase in class.

Instructor Provided Items (additional fee to be paid in classroom)
- 5 yards PFD fabric
- All dye and chemicals
- Latex-free Gloves
- Paintbrushes, squeeze bottles, sponges, other dye applicators
- Towels and supplies for cleanup
