It is a single sheet, 34" x 22", printed on both side with patterns for 11 items - slippers, handkerchief case, drawstring bag, fringed pillow case, eagle sachet, chintz handbag, summer quilt, telephone book cover, card table cover, bed jacket, dressing table set.

Jersey Tulip and Ocean Waves pattern

Tissue paper patterns that came as wrapping on package of PRIDE batting, made by the Rock River Cotton Company in Janesville, Wisconsin. Pattern was designed by Mary A. McElwain Quilt Shop, Walworth, Wisconsin. "Patent Granted 1934" is printed on the tissue paper. I have two sets of patterns, each is $5

Full sized patterns. There are some tears in the tissue paper, I will leave repairing up to the buyer. The tissue paper is about 12" wide.

This "book" is actually a single page flyer. Side one has templates for the four quilt blocks shown in the picture. The back side of the flyer has directions for crocheted Nosegay Bouquets. Directions for Violets and Roses are given. Also pictured on the back side are 5 Sunbonnet Sue & 4 Overall Sam designs. The page has been folded in fourths and there is a hole in the center of the page where the two folds meet. The edges are just a little worn, otherwise the paper is in good condition.

A page from Laura Wheeler Designs, Pattern 1659, Around The World. Folded several times, but no tears. Complete directions for making an ATW quilt. Templates are not included. The picture shows 2/3 of the front of the paper. The back of the paper is blank. Also included is the envelope is from the Flint Journal Needlecraft Department, Laura Wheeler Designs. It is postmarked New York, NY, metered postage is one cent. Handwritten address to Mrs. Henry McGuiness of Flint Michigan. Envelope is in one piece, but in pretty ragged shape

  • A ragged half sheet, blank on reverse side, which has layout for a variation of a dresden plate block.
  • Yardage chart for the dresden plate quilt block. Complete quilt layout is there, but the fabric requirements are ripped with only about half still present. Paper is very raggedy.
  • Five original paper templates for the block. Three cardboard templates also included.
